@WinforumNY is a shot of power and energy for the next generation of women innovators, entrepreneurs and “intrapreneurs”. Together, the WIN Forum NY wants women to have fun, learn, feel, meet, share, and DREAM BIG, because the digital era is a unique opportunity for women to change the rules.

When: April 21, 2016 08:00 AM- 02:00 PM

Where: AXA Auditorium 787 7th Ave New York City, NY

About the host:

Catherine Barba (@cathbarba) is a trusted advisor, mentor and business investor and serves on the board of several successful tech start-ups created by women including Leetchi, MangoPay (sold in 2015 to Credit Mutuel Arkea for $50 M) and Retency (raised $5 M in 2016), and others. She also produces a TV program series called “Entreprendre c’est grandir” (Start your business and grow) aimed at encouraging young women to start a tech business.

In 2015, she was named one of the 50 most influential figures in Europe’s digital economy by Inspiring Fifty and in 2014 she was one of the three most influential female figures in France.

“My endgame is to foster confidence and encourage women to start a tech business, to raise money, to create the next Google, or just to push away the hurdles that are thrown in their professional way by highlighting women who are taking action. I do believe the digital era is a unique opportunity for women to change the rules of leadership.”

What will I learn?

  • How to own the stage and pitch investors
